Now here’s a lady whose name fits her city: Maria De Los Angeles Mora, who arrived from Sinaloa, Mexico, more than 30 years ago. She’s been working in the garment industry ever since she reached her teen years, and is now the production manager for the Ann Ferriday label. Mora says he enjoys her work because she likes to be on top of all the new styles. She likes vacations, too, and plans to take daughters Andrea and Evelyn on a trip to Cancun, Mexico, to see family and have some fun. Her older daughters will be working—Melody is a manager at Mimi’s Café and Denise teaches aquatics at the YMCA—so they won’t be able to join them. It’s clear where those two learned their work ethic, so it’s understandable that they’re skipping the trip. And you can bet that Mora will bring them back something nice, because she’s known to be a considerate person.
