Broadway Uncovered: A worker steam-cleans the Chapman Building at 8th and Broadway, which is in the process of being converted from offices to 168 residences for sale, with 11,000 square-feet of retail space at ground level for lease. The recent stream-cleaning took several days and wiped away grime that had built up over several decades, according to representatives of Broadway & Eight Investments LLC, the developer. The project is expected to be complete in mid-2007, with prices for residential units starting at approximately $300,000.
