Metro Public Meeting on Downtown-Westside Bus Connection
Talking Transit: The monthly meeting of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Metro Westside/Central Service Sector will focus on a pair of bus routes that provide service between Downtown and the Westside. The meeting will feature a public hearing on lines 33/333, which provide service from Union Station and a stop at 6th and Spring streets. The route includes several stops between Downtown and its final destination in Santa Monica. Metro officials are reviewing the possibility of changes to service on the route later this year. The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13 at the La Cienega Tennis Center at 325 S. La Cienega Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Anyone who cannot attend may submit comments to Metro Customer Relations, One Gateway Plaza 99PL4, Los Angeles, 90012-2932, Attn: Service Changes December 2008. Comments can also be sent via e-mail with “Service Changes December 2008” as the subject line to customerrelations@metro.net, or by fax to (213) 922-6988. Comments must be submitted by August 13.
